SCORE and SBDC Host IRS Seminar

 “Small Business Tax Workshop”

 Kent State University Stark Campus on October 12, 2007

The Canton Regional SCORE chapter, in association with the Small Business Development Center, is conducting a seminar intended to provide small business owners with valuable tax tips.  Mr. Anthony J. Palmer, IRS Stakeholder Liaison of the Cleveland IRS office will be present, representatives from the Ohio Department of Taxation, and area CPA’s will participate in the seminar presentation.

The seminar, which is specifically developed for small businesses, including current SCORE clients, will cost $45. This fee is charged by SCORE and the SBDC to cover their costs, which includes all meeting materials, lunch and breaks, and is exclusive of the IRS.  There is no additional charge by the IRS for this event.

 The seminar will be held at The Kent State University Stark Campus Professional Education and Conference Center from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Attendance is limited. Participants are urged to pre-register by calling 330-244-3290. MasterCard and Visa will be accepted. Registration may also be made on line by contacting www cantonsbdc.org.  .
